The PeopleCare Center for Nonprofits building is a continuing evolving work and community space. It is always the goal of PCC to maintain the original character of the Finderne School while helping it evolve into a modern, efficient work and community space. The building’s public space was recently updated and repainted using environmentally friendly low-VOC paint. Carpets have been replaced and all the community spaces are WiFi accessible, all done while staying true to the original footprint of the building. The PeopleCare Center is energy efficient and offers all-inclusive and affordable maintenance and utility rates. Gas and building electric are included in base rent, except A/C which is controlled by the tenant and billed separately. Water and sewer charges are included and tenants pay no real estate taxes. Building Maintenance including HVAC, plumbing and elevator maintenance, janitorial service including trash removal and on site recycling removal are all included in the tenant’s base rent. Also included is building insurance and continuous fire protection monitoring. Building safety and our tenant's security is a priority. PCC is equipped with an alarm system with tenants having 24/7 access via security keypad enabling flexible work hours and schedules. While our mission speaks to the building — PCC is more than that. PCC supplies operating space to nonprofit organizations at below market prices so that our tenant organizations can continue to do their good and vital work in our community and the world. |  Need space for your next function? Access to Meeting Space
The free use of meeting and conference space allows nonprofits to rent less space which can result in significant savings each year. WiFi is available to tenants and visitors in the building common areas. Tenants acquire their own Internet services so they can tailor to their functionality needs, users and requirements. |  |
| Get Outside
With ample parking space and greenery, the Center has outdoor space and benches available for you to take a break or enjoy an outdoor lunch or hold a casual meeting. Other shared amenities include outdoor play equipment for children, picnic tables and covered pavilions. Landscaping and snow removal is included in base rent. |
Character
Architectural details add charm. High ceilings, arched doorways and wood moldings are original to the building. Hardwood floors add warm tones to several rooms. Wide halls, open stairways and tall windows add plenty of light and lend a sense of open space. |

The Center strives to be environmentally responsible and resource-efficient. Solar panels, installed in 2010, were made possible with funding from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act. The equipment is designed to supplement 35% of our electrical load. PeopleCare Center is a tobacco free campus. |
